Since 1978, Blue Ridge Tool & Machine Co. has been dedicated to customer satisfaction by providing the best machining and fabrication services to our customers, including the power generation industry. We specialize in machining stainless, nickel and super alloys.

Blue Ridge Tool & Machine Co. History & Scope

Located in Easley South Carolina, Blue Ridge Tool & Machine Co. was initially established in 1978 as a small fastener warehouse and conducted some machining work for the residential and commercial industries. In 1981 founder Gene Tollison purchased an 1800 square foot facility at the current location to meet the growing machining demands. Today, Blue Ridge Tool & Machine Co. is housed in two buildings with a combined area of just under 20,000 square feet and is owned and operated by Gene’s son, Chris Tollison, the president of BRT, and Mike McGee, the General Manager of BRT.

The company now manufactures, inspects, and ships machined and fabricated parts for the power generation, aerospace, and automotive industries as well as other companies in general industries that require BRT’s services. Blue Ridge Tool & Machine Co. provides machining and fabrication services consisting of manual and CNC milling and turning, water jet and laser cutting, forming, and assembly, all in accordance with the customer’s specifications and drawings, government regulations, and ISO 9001:2015. In addition, BRT can provide outsourced services including grinding, heat treating, plating, forming, and other general machining services as needed. Blue Ridge Tool can machine most all materials including: stainless steels, carbon, brass, bronze, nickel alloys, tool steels, super alloys, plastics, and most any other machinable material. By using ISO 9001:2015 to direct all of our business practices, we drive the cost out of our processes to constantly improve end products, as well as, our overall company structure to ensure customer satisfaction.
